Preparing Children for University and Life
Schoolchildren aged 12-18 from around the world now have the opportunity to attend some of the best educational institutions in the world. Education Solutions International, a leader in independent school education, has carefully selected a group of boarding schools from among the most successful independent boarding institutions of Canada and the United States to create the North American Consortium of Independent Schools.
The Right School for Every Child
While each of our schools specialize in preparing children for university by providing sound learner-centered education that focuses on the whole student, our diverse membership ensures we have the right school for nearly everyone.
Some schools view service and understanding the world as their mission, others focus on international business or leadership. Many of our schools have specialized programs in robotics, astrology, the arts, and athletics. One of our schools is a girls-school that addresses the learning differences of men and women. Another specializes in helping children with emotional disabilities.
Whatever the preference and needs of the student and their parents, we will help you find the school that will best prepare your student for excellence in university and life beyond.
Mission
The Consortium is an association of North American independent boarding schools. Its mission is to promote and sustain international understanding primarily through admission of students from countries with emerging market economies to leading North American independent schools.
History
The Consortium was launched is July 2005 as the American and Canadian Consortium of Independent Schools. It has specialized in finding schools for children from Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine, with its representational office in Moscow and a solid network of partners throughout Eurasia. In early 2006, the Consortium recruited its first student from Mainland China. Since its founding, the Consortium arranged for 38 students from countries with transitional economies to study in a Consortium school.
