Schools/Teachers

International secondary schools may arrange for groups of five or more students to visit a North American school at any time during the school year for periods lasting one to several weeks.

Programs can be of a cultural emphasis with visits to such local sites as Disneyland, New York, national parks, cultural centers, and museums, etc. The visits can be academically targeted to include studies in such subjects as ESL, Robotics, Debate, Conservation, Science, and Aeronautics. Or they can be sport-related as some of our schools have excellent programs in golf, mountain climbing, scuba diving, etc.

For groups of five to ten students, a teacher-chaperone travels with the group for free. For groups of more than ten students, two teacher-chaperones will lead the group all expenses paid.

Strong English skills are not required for a student to participate. If your school or class is interested in working with a North American school, the Consortium would be pleased to arrange this.
