Athletics
WMA has a very wide selection of athletic activities and teams in which all students may participate. New, state-of-the-art athletic facilities are located on campus. All upper school students are required to participate in a minimum of two trimesters of physical activity each year to enhance their total well-being. Physical activities include competitive team sports and instructional programs, as well as other non-competitive categories. During the other trimester, students have the choice of participating in another physical activity or one of the non-physical activity offerings. Please consult www.wma.us for a complete list of athletic activities.
Arts
Students of all abilities are expected to take courses and participate in visual or performing arts. Modern facilities and professional faculty artists ensure that highly talented students reach their full potential in music, art, and theatre. The arts allow students to engage in creative problem solving activities in addition to exploring new avenues of self-expression. At Wilbraham and Monson Academy the Fine Arts program offers a full range of studio and computer based courses to benefit the entry-level student as well as the advanced artist. WMA strives to teach students the skills and thought processes that ensure a deeper understanding of the world around them.
