If somebody had told me that I was going to spend all year at boarding school thousands of miles away from my home, I would have thought twice before saying yes. I had many concerns: what if I was not smart enough, what if students would not like me because of my nationality or language? Because of this I was very nervous and stressed. Fortunately, none of my expectations were true; people were nice and accommodating, studying was fun and cognitive, and I have found that I was not the only non-native speaker. Now I am honored to be an international student at one of the best boarding schools in the United States.
